Miracle Cure Nettle

Getting to know the nettle is not a particularly pleasant experience for some people. Nevertheless, this plant is considered a panacea. Pastor Künzle once said: "If the nettle had no thorns, it would have been eradicated long ago, so versatile are its virtues."
This sentence hits the nail on the head.
Whether as a natural plant fertilizer, dried animal feed, for making rope or as a vegetable and medicine for us humans, the areas of application of the nettle are unparalleled.

We humans can benefit from the wide range of effects of this plant in the following way:
If you like spinach, or maybe not, you can prepare nettle spinach from the young leaves of the nettle, which provides you with numerous valuable nutrients such as iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamins A, C, E, as well as unsaturated fatty acids. The plant also contains all eight essential amino acids and 100g of fresh nettle leaves contain around 7-9g of protein, which is surprisingly high for a green leafy vegetable.
The seeds of the female nettle plant are also considered a health elicist similar to ginseng due to the vital substances and phytohormones they contain.
The nettle stimulates the metabolism, is anti-inflammatory, purifies the blood, promotes circulation, is diuretic, drains, detoxifies and helps with kidney and urinary tract problems, rheumatic diseases, high blood pressure, allergies, autoimmune diseases, skin disorders and many other complaints. To benefit from the healing effects of the plant, it can either be eaten, drunk as a tea or, for example, in the form of nettle whips, applied to the affected area of the skin in the case of diseases such as rheumatism, arthrosis or gout.
Through so-called nettle whipping (according to Pastor Kneipp), the areas affected by inflammation are supplied with blood, which ensures that the toxins (e.g. uric acid crystals in gout) responsible for the inflammation can be transported away and thus the inflammation subsides and pain also subsides.
This by no means comprehensive description of the nettle shows how versatile this plant can be used and how valuable it can be for our health.
